Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for a facilities maintenance engineer at a manufacturing site in Maharashtra. You will oversee electrical O&M, backup power, lighting, HVAC, security systems, and project relocations to ensure zero production downtime.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, maintaining SAP records, and ensuring compliance with PM schedules and KPIs. The role demands hands-on technical expertise and vigilant documentation.

Responsibilities

• Electrical O&M: Manage daily O&M of 22kV transformers, main HT/LT panels & breakers, distribution panels, earthing pits, bus bars and plug-in boxes.
• Backup Power: Ensure readiness and maintenance of DG sets and plant-wide UPS systems.
• Lighting Systems: Maintain plant internal lighting, street lights and high-security lighting.
• Mechanical Utilities: Execute preventive maintenance for HVAC systems and industrial air compressors.
• Security Systems: Maintain and integrate CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS) and turnstile entry systems.
• Projects & Relocations: Lead facility infrastructure projects; independently handle machine shifting/layout changes ensuring zero production downtime.
• Warehouse Support: Coordinate and oversee facility maintenance activities at external warehouses; ensure SLA closures.
• Compliance & Reporting: Follow PM schedules/KPIs, manage vendors & AMCs, maintain documentation/certifications, prepare monthly MIS reports, and update logs/notifications in SAP.
