Job summary

Rainbow Hr Consulting Services is seeking an Asst Manager- DC Operations & Maintenance to oversee electrical/mechanical facility operations across multiple sites, coordinate maintenance programs, and lead a team of data center technicians to ensure continuous 24x7 uptime and safety.

The role requires BE in Electrical/Mechanical with 8–12 years of experience, exposure to ISO standards, expertise in transformers, HV/LV panels, UPS, DG, HVAC, BMS/IBMS, and willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Qualifications

• BE- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 8-12 years experience in managing Electrical systems on large campuses with multiple tenants.
• Exposure to ISO 14001, ISO 20001, ISO 27000, ISO 9000, ISAE.
• Knowledge of transformers, HT/LT distribution panels, UPS and SMPS systems.
• Knowledge of 110KV/33KV/22KV/11KV substations and high-capacity DG sets.
• HVAC systems including Chillers, Cooling towers, CRAH and chilled water management.
• Experience with BMS/IBMS and data center automation.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts and drive maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage Electrical O&M programs across multiple locations.
• Supervise Data Center Technicians and ensure 24x7 uptime.
• Monitor customer SLAs and escalations; drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee workflows and throughput of data center operations.
• Ensure all operational KPIs are measured and met.
• Drive automation initiatives (BMS, IBMS) and energy efficiency.
• Prepare timely reports and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Coordinate vendor performance and on-call escalations.
• Maintain safety and regulatory standards across sites.

Role & responsibilities

Asst Manager- DC Operations & Maintenance is a specialist who manages Electrical/Mechanical Facilities operations at multiple locations and maintenance activities, coordinates facility programs and projects, and supervises building personnel; by inspecting the Critical facility, analyzing building data, forecasting future needs, solving problems, and communicating with others; to ensure the efficient and sustainable operations of the facility and the satisfaction of the facility occupants

• Manage Electrical O&M Programs
• Manages customer SLA; Manage customer escalation
• Management of the team of Data Center Technicians; this includes all aspect of people/performance/rotation management.
• Ensuring effective and efficient management of day to day 24x7 Datacenter Operations and UPTIME
• Manage/Improve the workflows and throughput for data Centers Operations.
• Ensure all operational KPIs and Metrics are being measured and met inside the Data Center.
• Play a key part in innovation and driving automation within Data Center Operations. (BMS etc.)
• Be passionate about the quality and quantity of services being provided by the Data Center Operations team and continuously strive to improve Customer Experience.
• Part of an on-call rotation for Datacenter Issue escalations.
• Vendor management/monitoring vendor performance.
• Ensuring his/her Data Center is compliant with all relevant security policies and procedures.
• Timely reports generation and meeting all customers data / reports requirement on timely passion

Preferred candidate profile

BE- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 8-12 years experience in managing Electrical systems large campus with multiple tenant of facilities large Data Center

• Exposure on ISO 14001, ISO 20001,ISO 27000,ISO9000,ISAE
• Highly knowledgeable in installation, repair and maintenance of Transformers, HT and LT distribution panels, UPS and SMPS systems
• Knowledge in installation, repair and maintenance of 110KV/33KV/22KV/11KV substations
• Knowledge in installation, repair and maintenance of high capacity DG sets
• Knowledge of HVAC, critical facilities such as Chillers, Cooling towers, CRAH (Computer Air Handling Units) & Chilled water management system.
• Knowledge & experience of BMS/IBMS
• Skilled in diagnosing malfunctions with systems and coming up with the right solutions and equipment for the rectification of the malfunctions
• Able to work efficiently with various parts of Electrical equipment including UPS systems and Battery banks so as to meet all needs.
• Highly experienced in carrying out routine and preventative maintenance activities
