Job summary

Kaapro Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd. seeks an Electrical Design & Documentation professional to support design, procurement and on-site activities. Prepare load lists, BOMs, cable schedules, and electrical notes; review drawings and submittals.

Coordinate with vendors, obtain quotations, compare offers, and assist during installation and commissioning, ensuring IS/IEC compliance and safety. Strong documentation and coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of MCC, PCC, and PLC panels and their integration in process systems.
• Proficient in load calculation, cable sizing, and selection.
• Basic understanding of PLC/SCADA systems and field instrumentation.
• Familiarity with IS / IEC electrical standards and design practices.
• Strong coordination, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical load lists based on final BOQ and approved technical datasheets.
• Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) as per design and specification requirements.
• Prepare cable schedule, cable and cable tray BOQ, and general electrical notes.
• Support in preparation of SLDs, PLC logic, and SCADA development documents.
• Review and update electrical drawings and technical submittals.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations for electrical panels and materials.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparisons of vendor offers.
• Coordinate with vendors for design clarifications, document approvals, and delivery schedules.
• Finalize cable routes and tray layouts in coordination with civil and mechanical teams.
• Provide technical assistance during installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with relevant standards and safety guidelines.
• Support in troubleshooting and resolving site-level electrical issues when required.
