Job summary

NPCI is seeking a Lead Design and Development professional to oversee enterprise-scale applications in the eFRM ecosystem. You will drive architecture, scalability, and performance, collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver robust, distributed systems aligned with NPCI standards.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of Java/J2EE experience, expertise in Spring, microservices, Kafka, and Redis, and a BE/BTech in engineering.

Qualifications

BE / BTech in Engineering.
6–10 years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
Experience in design and development of distributed systems.
Proficiency with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Hands-on with Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, YugabyteDB, and ELK stack.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
Experience designing and deploying microservices and event-driven architectures.
Ability to prepare HLD/LLD, diagrams, and release notes.

Responsibilities

Lead application design and development using Java/J2EE.
Design microservices-based and distributed systems.
Develop REST APIs and enterprise solutions using Spring Boot.
Work with Kafka and ELK stack.
Prepare HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, release notes.
Handle relational databases and NoSQL systems.
Mentor team members in development and design.
Drive technical solutioning and design discussions.
