An EEG Technician is responsible for performing electroencephalography procedures to record and support evaluation of brain electrical activity. The prepares patients and equipment, conducts EEG recordings according to approved procedures, maintains test quality, and coordinates with neurologists and clinical teams.

• Prepare patients for EEG examinations.
• Verify patient identity and clinical information.
• Explain the EEG procedure and provide appropriate instructions.
• Prepare and position EEG electrodes according to standard procedures.
• Operate EEG equipment and recording systems.
• Perform routine EEG recordings according to approved protocols.
• Monitor recording quality and identify technical artefacts.
• Perform additional recording procedures as assigned and trained.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during the examination.
• Monitor patients during EEG recording and report concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate EEG records and documentation.
• Label, store, and transfer EEG recordings according to procedures.
