Job summary

Advance Career Solutions in India seeks a skilled CNC Wire-Cut EDM technician to operate and set up wire-cut machines, load programs, and ensure precise tolerances.

You will interpret engineering drawings, set machine offsets, verify datum setup, and monitor flushing and cutting parameters; knowledge of GD&T is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting and measurement with precision instruments are expected to support manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of CNC Wire-Cut EDM operation and setup.
• Knowledge of Wire-Cut EDM programming and program loading.
• Understanding of X-Y-U-V axis movement and taper cutting.
• Knowledge of rough cut and skim/finish cut operations.
• Ability to understand and set machine offsets and compensation.
• Knowledge of workpiece alignment and datum setting.
• Understanding of EDM machining parameters and flushing requirements.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensional tolerances.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T will be an advantage.
• Basic CNC troubleshooting knowledge.
