Job summary

ALPLA Group in Hyderabad, India, seeks a skilled EDM wire cut technician to set up and program EDM machines and maintain CNC equipment. You will independently process defined work steps and modify programs as needed while ensuring precision per drawings.

The role requires a Diploma in Tool & Die Making or related metal engineering studies, with basic MS Office knowledge. Training and a dynamic, international environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Tool & Die making (4 years) is required.
• Technical education in metal engineering is desirable.
• Knowledge to operate and program EDM wire cut machines.
• Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up of EDM wire cut machines and manufacturing of single or multiple parts according drawing under tolerances.
• Set up and programming of EDM wire cut machines.
• Independent processing of defined work processes (machine set up sheet).
• Programming and modification of EDM machine programs.
• Maintenance of the CNC machine.
• Feedback of production optimization to the team leader/CAM programmer.
• Time record of the manufactured parts.
• Ensure order and cleanliness in assigned area of responsibility.
