Job summary

Meiosis Publications in Bengaluru (Indiranagar) is seeking an Ecommerce Executive to join our Inside Sales and Operations team. You will manage orders, coordinate shipments, and support procurement to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

As the primary point of contact across WhatsApp, phone, email and social media, you will resolve product and order queries with a customer-first mindset. Proficiency in Excel and fluent English and Hindi are required; Kannada is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, simple formulas).
• Fluent in English and Hindi; Kannada is a plus.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in ecommerce operations, retail, or EdTech is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets, basic reporting tools, and inventory management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process orders via ecommerce dashboard and fulfill them.
• Coordinate shipping with courier partners and generate labels.
• Track shipments daily and resolve delays with couriers.
• Procure stock to maintain warehouse operations.
• Interface with customers across WhatsApp, phone, email, and social media for order inquiries.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare weekly reports on order volumes and delivery performance.

We are looking for highly motivated and ambitious folks to be a part of our Inside Sales Team.

Job Description

• Order Processing: Manage and fulfill all incoming orders via our e-commerce dashboard.
• Shipping Coordination: Book shipments with various courier partners and generate shipping labels.
• Logistics Follow-up: Track shipments daily and proactively resolve any delays or delivery issues with courier partners to ensure timely arrival.
• Procurement: Timely order placing and stock up for procurement of various items required to maintain the warehouse operations.

2. Omni-Channel Customer Support

• Direct Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for customers across all platforms: WhatsApp, Phone Calls, Email, and Social Media (Instagram/Facebook).
• Issue Resolution: Handle queries regarding product details, order status, returns, or exchanges with a helpful and professional "customer-first" attitude.

3. Operational Support

• Inventory Tracking: Maintain records of stock levels and order data using Microsoft Excel.
• Data Reporting: Prepare simple weekly reports on order volumes and delivery performance.

Requirements & Skills

• Technical: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, simple formulas, sorting).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (Knowledge of Kannada is a plus).
• Aptitude: Strong multi-tasking abilities and problem-solving mindset.
• Relevant experience in ecommerce operations, retail, or EdTech is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets, basic reporting tools, and inventory management systems is preferred.
