Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking a Duty Manager for our upscale hotel in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. You will coach and guide team members, maintain in-depth knowledge of hotel operations, rates, and promotions, and ensure seamless guest service during shifts.

You’ll manage overnight tasks when needed, monitor check-in/out, and uphold LQA and Forbes Standards, while delivering outstanding guest relations and prompt responses to guest needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury hotel.
• Proficiency in using PMS Opera and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coaches, counsels and disciplines team members to enhance performance.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, hours, room types, rates, and promotions.
• Monitor check-in/check-out and assist guests efficiently.
• Ensure positive guest relations and prompt responses to guest needs.
• Handle overnight shift tasks including night audit and reporting when required.

What Will You Do?

• Coaches, counsels and disciplines team members providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:
• All hotel features/facilities/services, hours of operation.
• All room types, numbers, layout, decor, appointments and location.
• All room rates, special packages and promotions.
• Daily house counts and expected arrivals/departures/VIP’s.
• Room availability status for any given day.
• Scheduled in-house group activities, locations and times.
• All hotel and departmental policies and procedures/ LQA and Forbes Standards.
• When on Overnight Shift, proceeds Night Audit, prepares and save/send all necessary reports as requested, checks and searches arrivals’ profiles and input in Opera, and prepares Mondrian Hotel News for all departments.
• Monitor check-in/check-out process; anticipate critical situations and assist wherever necessary to help alleviate the pressure and to process guests efficiently.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Duty Manager, preferably in a luxury hotel
• Proficiency in using PMS Opera and other relevant software applications.
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese as a priority. Additional language skills are an advantage.
