Job summary

PVR Limited in Mumbai is seeking a Cinema Operations Supervisor to ensure smooth cinema running in line with company policies. You will oversee concession, box office, and guest experience, stepping in as in-charge when the cinema head is unavailable.

The role requires 3 to 5 years in hospitality, a hands-on team player mindset, and the ability to train service associates. You will manage day-to-day operations, drive targets, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the smooth running of the cinema in accordance with the set of company Policies and procedures under the general guidance and supervision of the cinema head. Also oversees and directs all aspects of concession operations, box office, and guest satisfaction. Acts as the cinema in charge in the absence of the cinema head/center custodian.

1. Handling operations on a day-to-day basis.

2. Monitoring and controlling

• Quality level of products and services
• Merchandising and Marketing
• Operating costs
• Sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene of the entire area under his/her purview.
• Ensure optimum performance in specific jobs assigned in the above areas.

3. Conducts daily briefings & sets up targets/goals for the shift and makes a constant effort to achieve the same.

4. Oversees the services of Cinema from box office to concessions to ensure the highest standards and quality services at all times.

5. Conducts operational training for service associates & duty officers (under the guidance of the Cinema Head) to enhance job performance and productivity.

6. Must be willing to work in a team environment - with a total hands-on approach.
