Job summary

INOX is seeking a Cinema General Manager/Cinema Manager to lead operations, drive guest satisfaction, and manage a high-performance team. The role emphasizes operational excellence, staff development, and financial stewardship to deliver premium movie-going experiences.

You will oversee daily cinema operations, training programs, and customer service standards while coordinating with the Zonal/Area Head to achieve business goals across budgets and revenue streams.

Qualifications

• HM Graduate or 3-year degree/diploma in Hospitality Management.
• 8–16 years of experience in cinema/hospitality operations.
• Senior management experience in cinema/retail/entertainment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staff retention within cinema-specific targets and reduce attrition.
• Drive training completion and 100% participation in mandatory programs.
• Achieve high training assessment scores and knowledge transfer to operations.
• Identify and develop future leaders, grooming at least 2 successors annually.
• Enhance employee satisfaction through engagement, communication, and recognition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and exceed CSAT targets.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and deliver a wow experience during audits.
• Meet budget targets for Opex/Capex and SPH goals.
• Drive upselling, cross-selling, and premium offerings to improve revenue.
• Track market trends and performance via weekly reviews and dashboards.

• Use analytical decision-making to track market trends, competition, and performance through weekly reviews and 360 dashboard updates, recommending strategies to grow market share
• Monitor and control controllable costs to remain within approved budgets
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, achieving high scores in quality audits (weighted average)
• Encourage innovation by implementing new ideas and recognizing team efforts, even in case of failed experiments
