Job summary

Ashoka Buildcon is seeking an experienced Draftsman (AutoCAD & BIM) for Nashik projects. You will produce 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools (Revit) and ensure compliance with project standards and BIM Execution Plan.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in technical drafting for civil, structural, or building projects, with a relevant degree and AutoCAD/CAD/BIM certification. GCC/KSA experience is preferred; proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and clash coordination is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma/ITI in Drafting/CAD with relevant certification.
• Certification in AutoCAD or CAD/BIM software is required.
• 5–10+ years of drafting experience for civil, structural, or building projects.
• GCC/KSA experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (civil/structural/MEP), and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and BIM software (Revit) per project standards and BIM Execution Plan.
• Prepare detailed drawings, drawings for civil, structural, and architectural works.
• Convert sketches and design inputs into accurate 2D/3D CAD/BIM models.
• Coordinate with structural, civil, and MEP teams to accommodate design changes.
• Create components using catalogue data and design inputs.
• Assist BIM Manager/Senior Engineers with modelling and simulation.
• Perform clash coordination using Revit and Navisworks.
• Produce 2D/3D views, sections, and quantity schedules.
• Produce shop drawings from BIM models.
• Review and revise drawings based on team feedback.
• Maintain drawing files and document management systems.
• Assist in cost estimates and material take-offs from drawings.
• Coordinate drawing submissions and review comments with KSA team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create and manage 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and BIM software (Revit) in accordance with project standards and BIM Execution Plan.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and blueprints for civil, structural, and architectural works.
• Convert hand-drawn sketches and design inputs into accurate 2D and 3D CAD/BIM models.
• Collaborate and coordinate with structural, civil, and MEP disciplines to accommodate design changes.
• Create content including parts, families, and elements using catalogue information and design inputs.
• Assist BIM Manager/Senior Engineers in modelling and simulation of projects.
• Perform clash coordination using Revit and Navisworks.
• Create 2D/3D views, sections, schematic diagrams, shaft/riser diagrams, and quantity schedules.
• Produce shop drawings from BIM models.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and design changes from the team.
• Maintain and update drawing files and document management systems.
• Assist in preparation of cost estimates and material take-offs from drawings.
• Coordinate with the KSA team for drawing submission, review comments, and revision tracking.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or Diploma/ITI in Drafting/CAD.
• Certification in AutoCAD or similar CAD/BIM software.
• Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in technical drafting for civil, structural, or building projects.
