Job summary

Ashoka Buildcon Nashik is seeking an experienced MEP Designer to support Kingdom of Saudi Arabia projects. You will develop detailed MEP designs for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Saudi codes and international standards.

Responsibilities include producing design drawings with AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP, performing load calculations, coordinating with structural teams, preparing BOQs and submittals, and supporting value engineering to improve energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 8-10+ years of experience in MEP design for building projects.
• GCC/KSA experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and/or similar design software.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, IEE wiring regulations, and Saudi standards.
• Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or hospitality building projects.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed MEP design plans for building and infrastructure projects in compliance with KSA/international standards.
• Design mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) and electrical systems (LV, ELV, lighting) for buildings.
• Prepare MEP design drawings, schematics, riser diagrams, and specifications using AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, or similar software.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design in accordance with applicable standards.
• Collaborate with structural and civil designers to coordinate service routes, openings, and structural interfaces.
• Prepare MEP BOQs and material specifications to support tendering.
• Liaise with the KSA team for design reviews, client comments, and technical clarifications.
• Ensure designs comply with Saudi codes, ASHRAE, IEE, NFPA, and other applicable standards.
• Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings.
• Conduct design coordination and clash detection reviews using Navisworks or BIM tools.
• Support value engineering by optimizing MEP systems and energy efficiency.
• Prepare technical submittals, design reports, and as-built documentation.
