Job summary

Punarjan Ayurveda Cancer Hospital is seeking a Doctors Assistant cum Patient Coordinator to support doctors in OPD, coordinate appointments, and ensure smooth patient flow.

You will assist in examinations, gather histories, manage records, explain treatment plans, and maintain high standards of care and safety. Fluency in Telugu and English is preferred; basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Preferred UG/PG degree with 3–10 years of experience as doctors assistant.
• Maintain a smooth and positive patient experience throughout the treatment journey.
• Collect patient feedback and encourage reviews for doctors and management.
• Strong read & write communication skills in Telugu and English.

Job Description:

Manage the doctors daily OPD, consultation and Coordinate patient appointments

Assist doctors in patient examination, diagnosis, and explanation treatment plans

Take patient medical history and perform basic physical assessments to their patients

Review and monitor laboratory reports, imaging results, and diagnostic tests reports

Support to doctors during consultation, end to end consultation your presence needs

Monitor patients undergoing treatment structures, explain about packages & treatments

Identify and report treatment side effects or complications to the doctors understand

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation, for patient coordination

Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care

Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards, as per organisation policy.

Ensure smooth patient flow during OPD hours, act as a single point of contact between patients and hospital teams.

Aspirant Key Skills:

Preferred UG/PG degree with at least 3-10 years of experience as doctors assistance

Ensure a smooth and positive patient experience throughout the treatment journey

Collect patient feedback and encourage reviews for the doctors and management

Strong read & writing both communication skills in Telugu and English languages

Excellent coordination and organisational abilities required for patients handlings

Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel and hospital related applications knowledge)

Prior experience in hospital or clinic doctors’ assistance cum coordination preferred

Expertise into the patient coordinating with business development and sales oriented

Assist OPD consultation patients into the conversion for accepting our treatments

Ability to interact with patients’ empathy/sympathy along with professional manner.
