Responsibilities

• Floor Supervision: Oversee the daily physical verification, picking, packing, and loading of goods to ensure accurate order fulfilment.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all dispatch-related paperwork—including invoices, delivery challans, packing lists, e-way bills, and gate passes—is accurately prepared and filed.
• Inventory Alignment: Coordinate closely with the warehouse and inventory teams to cross‑verify physical stock against system data before dispatch.
• Vehicle & Labour Coordination: Arrange for required commercial vehicles daily and manage floor labourers/loaders to ensure timely loading and minimal vehicle detention time.
• Damage Control: Ensure goods are handled and stacked safely inside vehicles to prevent any transit damage.
• System Updates: Update the ERP or Inventory Management System in real-time to reflect dispatched stock and generate daily dispatch reports.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 6 years of solid experience in warehouse dispatch operations, shipping, or store management.
• Education: Graduate in any stream; a diploma or certification in Materials Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain is a major plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and basic Microsoft Excel for report generation.
• Operational Strengths: Strong grasp of FIFO/LIFO systems, material handling practices, and local transport documentation rules.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team of packers, loaders, and external drivers firmly and fairly.
