Job summary

MTBI in Pune seeks engineers (BE in mechanical/electrical/automation/mechatronics) for a permanent, hybrid Cabin and Chassis role. You will develop digital planning methods and build the digital twin of process and product data to support production planning.

You will drive digital transformation by integrating data from diverse sources, specifying simulation requirements, and piloting digital twin initiatives across trades with Dassault and Siemens tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with mechanical/electrical/automation/mechatronics.
• Hands-on with digital manufacturing, production planning and PLM/CAx.
• Experience with CATIA, DELMIA, 3DX and Siemens Tecnomatix preferred.

To ensure that you will-

• You will develop modern digital planning methods and build the digital twin of process and product data as a central tool for production planning.
• You will analyze existing planning processes and drive their digital transformation with innovative, data-based solutions.
• You integrate and harmonize data from different sources (product, process, resource) and ensure a consistent, reliable database.
• You will specify requirements for simulation, visualization and data generation and transfer them into powerful IT tools.
• You identify relevant use cases, implement pilot projects and develop the digital twin across all trades.
• You optimize production processes with the help of digital tools in terms of ergonomics and productivity taking into account the deployment of employees.
• You will virtually evaluate layouts, material flows and process chains, reduce risks and increase efficiency Quality and flexibility of production.
• B.E (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering/automation, mechatronics)
• You are proficient in modeling, simulation and virtual commissioning (VIBN) - includingstructured configuration and version management as well as data management.
• Hands-on experience in Digital Manufacturing / Production Planning / Simulation, and Dassault tools (e.g. CATIA,
• DELMIA, 3DX) as well as experience with 3D tools.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Siemens-Tecnomatix (PD/PS) and Dassault tools (e.g. CATIA, DELMIA, 3DX) as well as experience with 3D tools.
• You have field-proven system and integration understanding in PLM, CAx, automation and visualization systems and move confidently at the interface to the Data Lab team (APIS, Events, ETL, Data-Pipelines).
• You have practical experience in digitalization projects related to digital factories, factory planning and End-to-end planning processes.
• You have the basics of production planning as well as a strong interest in new technologies, IT platforms and cloud solutions.
• You demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative team spirit, and a high level of commitment. You are capable of handling complex topics and presenting technical content clearly and effectively
