Job summary

MTBI within the TRATON group invites a Team Leader to drive EE Verification & Validation for automotive software. You will mentor a large multi-disciplinary team, craft robust test strategies, and ensure end-to-end delivery across hardware and software interfaces. Hybrid work in Pune with European collaboration.

Strong leadership, domain knowledge in CAN/LIN/J1939, and experience with dSPACE toolchain are essential. English fluency required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in validating control software functions and building test strategies.
• Strong domain knowledge in automotive verification/validation, including HIL/SIL/MIL concepts.
• Excellent people management, stakeholder management, and roadmap execution capabilities.
• Fluent English; German would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Derive test development strategies from vehicle requirements and system tests.

As a Team Leader - EE Verification & Validation you will be responsible to lead topics for validating control software functions and build strategies based on system/test architecture.Expertise in testing Automotive functionalities and deep domain knowledge inthe respective areas. Commercial Vehicle Function knowhow & Management& Troubleshooting of validation related technical issues. Good Peoplemanagement skills, stakeholder management, change management and able to create& execute defined roadmaps.

• Develop and lead team of 50+ highly capable engineers across areas of Software/Function Development, EE Harness Development and Software Verification & Validation Design and implementation complete test responsibility HIL/SIL/MIL and optimizing applicable HIL simulation models and software
• Understand the Vehicle Requirement & Derive test development & verification strategies
• HIL and system test - Development of test methods, test specifications.
• Execution of tests and reporting mechanism giving complete progress overview
• Integrating diverse hardware and software components within the verification/validation environment
• Troubleshooting and resolving intricate technical issues related to HIL systems
• Responsible for End-to-End deliveries within time, cost & quality for multiple products by leading & managing respective project leads meeting the customer expectations
• Technical Discussion with Stakeholders in Europe. Mentor engineers and contribute to capability building and technology roadmaps.
• To liaise with global team including Management in strengthening the Collaboration and technical decision making & representing the team in Global Management/Project Review
• Work closely with system engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, systems, test, functional safety) to deliver robust and reliable automotive software.
• Working knowledge of ASM plant models and its model based development in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Deep level experience with CAN , LIN , J1939, Ethernet, Flashing & Diagnostic protocol
• Significant experience with dSPACE tool chain - Configuration Desk, Control Desk, Automation Desk, SYNECT & Vector Tools like CANoe/CANanalyser, INCA etc
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Accountable, Proactive and quick Decision making. Ability to set clear expectations and derive results
