Job Summary
The DEX Engineer (Digital Employee Experience Engineer) is responsible for improving the technology experience, productivity, reliability, and satisfaction of employees across the broader enterprise digital workplace.
This role works closely with U.S.-based Infrastructure, End User Computing, Service Desk, Security, Workplace Technology, and ISM service portfolio leaders to design, implement, and continuously improve Digital Employee Experience capabilities. The role will use telemetry, automation, endpoint analytics, employee sentiment, service management data, and AI-enabled tooling to identify digital friction, improve employee productivity, and shift IT support from reactive incident response to proactive experience management.
The DEX Engineer is a role of the future: part endpoint engineer, part automation engineer, part service experience analyst, and part product-minded technologist. The role will help defend core employee productivity by reducing disruption, improving device and application health, and strengthening service reliability, while also adding new value through automation, self‑healing capabilities, digital experience insights, and measurable improvements in workforce enablement.
Success is defined by improving the employee digital experience through reduced incidents and friction, stronger endpoint performance and satisfaction, increased proactive issue resolution, lower Service Desk volume via automation, and broad adoption of DEX practices across teams.
This role is based in Bengaluru, India and will operate as part of a global delivery model in close partnership with U.S.-based leaders and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Advance DEX strategy, roadmap, and governance
- Design and improve DEX across endpoints and workplace services
- Use telemetry and analytics to identify digital friction
- Build proactive monitoring, alerting, and self‑healing automation
- Improve device health, app performance, and user experience
- Reduce tickets through proactive engineering and automation
- Deliver dashboards and actionable experience insights
- Evaluate and integrate DEX and supporting platforms
- Collaborate across infrastructure, cloud, app, and security teams
- Build automation, runbooks, and standards for scale
- Ability to work on‑site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role
This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on‑site presence is essential for key engagements, collaboration, and stakeholder alignment, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment.
Skills and Background You’ll Need
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience in endpoint engineering, infrastructure operations, digital workplace, automation, observability, or service experience management will be considered.
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in End User Computing, Endpoint Engineering, Digital Workplace, Infrastructure Operations, Service Management, Platform Engineering, or a related technology function. Hands‑on experience managing endpoints, device health, application performance, and workplace technologies at scale.

- Proven ability to reduce incidents and improve experience through automation, scripting, and self‑healing solutions.
- Strong understanding of Windows endpoint management, device health, patching, software deployment, application performance, device compliance, and remote support operations.
- Experience with ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, request, knowledge, and service performance management.
- Familiarity with digital workplace technologies including collaboration tools, productivity platforms, virtual desktop, identity, network experience, SaaS applications, and endpoint security controls.
- Experience working in a global delivery model, partnering with U.S.-based teams, distributed stakeholders, and cross‑functional technology groups.
- Experience translating technical telemetry into actionable insights, executive‑ready reporting, and service improvement plans.
- Exposure to AI‑enabled IT support, AIOps, employee sentiment analysis, or predictive analytics is preferred.
Technical Skills
