Job summary
Saaki Argus And Averil Consulting is seeking a DevOps & Production Engineer to lead 24/7 production support and DevOps operations for banking applications in the APAC region.
The role requires extensive experience in production support, SRE, and multi-regional leadership, with hands-on expertise in Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, observability tools, and ITIL processes. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in Production Support / Application Support / Systems Engineering / SRE.
- 4+ years in engineering leadership / people management.
- Experience managing 24/7 multi-regional operations.
- Strong exposure to banking, BFSI or regulated fintech environments.
- Excellent incident management, problem-solving and executive communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale 24/7 production support & DevOps operations.
- Drive incident management, troubleshooting & RCA.
- Lead and mentor multi-regional engineering teams.
- Manage hybrid environments across Azure/AWS & On-Premises.
- Drive SRE, automation and toil reduction.
- Ensure application, database and platform reliability.
- Lead observability initiatives using Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana.
- Oversee Docker & Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) environments.
- Drive DR, business continuity, ITIL, security and compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Singapore and APAC teams.
