Job summary

Solve It Consultant in India is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and operate highly available production platforms, supporting mission-critical applications. You will work with development, QA, security, and infra teams to improve deployment reliability, scalability, observability, automation, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years IT experience, 4+ years with DevOps and cloud platforms, strong Linux administration, CI/CD design, GitOps, and Kubernetes,

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with modern DevOps and Cloud platforms.
• Strong experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
• Experience with on-call rotations, production incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and manage GitOps-driven deployment workflows.
• Manage and support Kubernetes-based production environments.
• Improve platform reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and repetitive operational tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and release processes.
• Participate in production incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and operate highly available production platforms supporting mission-critical applications.

The ideal candidate will work closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment reliability, platform scalability, observability, automation, and operational excellence.

Experience Required

• 5-8 years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with modern DevOps and Cloud platforms.
• Strong experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
• Experience with on-call rotations, production incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong Linux & Systems Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of GitOps practices and deployment automation.
• Experience with Artifactory or equivalent repository management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS; Azure/GCP experience is also considered.
• Strong Bash/Shell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong networking fundamentals including:
