Job summary

Rubiscape in Pune, India, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to accelerate delivery from commit to production across SaaS, BYOC, on-premises, and air-gapped environments. You will help ensure reliability, observability, and repeatability across multi-cloud platforms while supporting RubiFlow, RubiStudio, RubiSight, RubiAI, RubiThings, and Business Workbench.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes clusters, automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, implement GitOps

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on DevOps or platform engineering experience in a product company or enterprise ISV.
• Strong Kubernetes operations experience and troubleshooting of pods, CNI issues, PV claims, RBAC.
• Proficient in Terraform for multi-cloud IaC; remote state, workspaces, modular patterns.
• Experience with ArgoCD or Flux for GitOps-based CD in Kubernetes environments.
• Scripting ability in Bash and Python for automation and runbooks.
• Familiarity with Prometheus metrics, PromQL, and Grafana dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, OCI OKE) including autoscaling and namespace isolation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Implement and operate GitOps workflows with ArgoCD—sync policies, canary deployments.
• Own observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and log aggregation with ELK/OpenSearch.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering to harden pipelines (scanning, SAST/DAST, secrets).
• Support onboarding for enterprise deployments including air-gapped setups.

As a DevOps Engineer at Rubiscape, you will be the backboneof our delivery velocity — automating the path from developer commit to production deployment across SaaS, BYOC, on-premises, and air-gappedenvironments. Rubiscape's promise of less than 90 days to first production usecase is only possible because of engineers who obsess over CI/CD reliability,infrastructure repeatability, and observability depth. You will work alongsideproduct engineering teams building India's leading Decision Intelligence Platform,ensuring that every release of RubiFlow, RubiStudio, RubiSight, RubiAI,RubiThings, and Business Workbench ships safely, quickly, and at enterprisescale. This is a high-ownership role on a platform trusted by Fortune 500enterprises across BFSI, manufacturing, healthcare, and government.

Key Responsibilities

• Design,build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI,supporting multi-environment promotion from dev through staging to productionacross cloud and on-prem targets.
• ManageKubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, OCI OKE) including workload deployment,horizontal pod autoscaling, resource quotas, and namespace isolation formulti-tenant SaaS and BYOC deployments.
• Automateinfrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible across AWS, Azure, GCP,and OCI, maintaining DRY module libraries and environment-specific variable sets.
• Implementand operate GitOps workflows with ArgoCD — managing application sets, syncpolicies, rollback strategies, and progressive delivery patterns (blue/green,canary).
• Ownobservability infrastructure: deploy and tune Prometheus, Grafana dashboards,and Alertmanager rulesets; integrate ELK/OpenSearch stack for centralised logaggregation and structured log queries.
• Collaboratewith Security Engineering to harden deployment pipelines — container imagescanning, SAST/DAST integration, secrets management via Vault or cloud-nativeKMS.
• Supportcustomer onboarding engineering for enterprise deployments, includingair-gapped installations that require offline artefact registries anddisconnected Kubernetes environments.

Nice to Have

• Experiencedeploying or supporting air-gapped / disconnected Kubernetes clusters forgovernment or defence enterprise customers.
• Certifications:CKA, CKS, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure DevOps Expert.
• Familiaritywith data platform components such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow from aninfrastructure operations perspective.

Requirements
