Job summary

Rubiscape, a Pune-based leading Decision Intelligence Platform, seeks a skilled full-stack engineer. You will build features end-to-end across React/TypeScript UI and a Node.js or Python backend, coordinating with design and product for scope and acceptance criteria.

You'll integrate with internal microservices to surface insights in Business Workbench and RubiSight, write scalable components, and ensure WCAG-compliant accessibility. Apply rigorous testing and participate in agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production features in a SaaS product.
• Strong React proficiency: hooks, context, performance optimisation, and TypeScript strict-mode.
• Backend experience with Node.js (Express/Fastify) or Python (FastAPI/Django) and REST API design.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Build product features end-to-end across React/TypeScript UI and Node.js or Python backend services with design and product scope.

• Write performant, type-safe TS components aligned to design system and accessibility standards.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL-adjacent endpoints with caching and SQL optimisation.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives; flag risks and propose phased delivery.
• Write unit and integration tests (Vitest, Playwright) targeting >80% coverage and contribute to test suites.
• Review PRs focusing on correctness, security, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Build product features end-to-end across React/TypeScript UI and Node.js or Python backend services, coordinating with design and product for scope and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate with Rubiscape’s internal microservices (data pipeline APIs, ML model serving endpoints, IoT ingestion streams) to surface insights in Business Workbench and RubiSight.
• Write performant, type-safe TypeScript components that conform to Rubiscape’s design system — Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, Radix UI — and meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL-adjacent API endpoints, applying appropriate caching strategies with Redis and optimised query patterns against PostgreSQL.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives; flag scope risk early and propose phased delivery where full-scope is not feasible within the sprint.
• Write unit and integration tests (Vitest, Playwright) targeting >80% coverage for all new feature work, and contribute to the shared component test suite.
• Review pull requests from peers with a focus on correctness, security, and maintainability rather than stylistic preference.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka or other message-streaming platforms for event-driven feature patterns.
• Prior work on data visualisation libraries (D3.js, Apache ECharts, Victory) relevant to RubiSight dashboard authoring.
• Exposure to ML model inference APIs or vector database integrations (pgvector, Pinecone) as part of AI-assisted product features.
• Background in enterprise B2B software where multi-tenancy, RBAC, and audit logging are first-class requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production features in a SaaS product.
• Strong React proficiency: hooks, context, performance optimisation (memoisation, code splitting), and TypeScript strict-mode discipline.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js (Express/Fastify) or Python (FastAPI/Django), including REST API design, middleware patterns, and SQL query optimisation.
• Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and basic Kubernetes operations — able to read and modify deployment manifests and debug pod-level issues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) and feature-flag-driven progressive delivery.
