Job summary

Rubiscape, a Pune-based leader in decision intelligence, seeks a platform-focused Product Manager who can own shared services, connectors, and deployment guardrails across a multi-studio environment. You will align with security and compliance requirements while driving API-first initiatives and developer tooling to accelerate value delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration with DevOps, infrastructure, and partnerships to ensure scalable, reliable platforms.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of product management with a platform/infrastructure focus in an enterprise SaaS environment.
• Strong working knowledge of data integration patterns (batch ETL, CDC, streaming) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to read architecture diagrams, API specs (OpenAPI/Swagger), and data flows without hand-holding.
• Experience writing technical PRDs for platform capabilities used by internal engineering or ISV partners.
• Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance requirements relevant to regulated industries in India.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform roadmap covering shared services: authentication/authorization, multi-tenancy, data governance metadata layer, lineage, and audit logging.
• Define connector strategy for 200+ integrations, prioritising new connectors and deprecations.
• Collaborate with DevOps to specify SaaS, BYOC, on‑premises, hybrid, and air‑gap deployment blueprints and translate compliance into guardrails.
• Drive the platform’s API‑first roadmap: versioning, developer docs, SDK releases, and webhook/event architecture for partners.
• Establish and monitor platform‑level SLOs (availability, latency, throughput) and drive improvements with engineering.
• Manage technical debt and platform health as part of the product roadmap; present trade‑offs to leadership.
• Coordinate with studio PMs to promote platform capabilities and reusable building blocks across studios.

The Platform PM at Rubiscape is theguardian of the cross-cutting capabilities that make all six studios work as acoherent, governed whole — including the unified metadata layer, role-basedaccess control, multi-tenancy, deployment orchestration, and the 200+integration connectors that tie Rubiscape to enterprise data stacks. You willwork intimately with infrastructure, security, and platform engineering teamsto ensure that every studio — from RubiFlow to Business Workbench — inheritsworld-class reliability, compliance, and scalability foundations. This is adeeply technical PM role for someone who thrives at the seam between productand engineering architecture. Your work directly enables the <90-daytime-to-value promise and the 5× TCO advantage that enterprise customers dependon.

Key Responsibilities

• Own theplatform roadmap covering shared services: authentication/authorisation (SSO,RBAC, ABAC), multi-tenancy, data governance metadata layer, lineage, and auditlogging.
• Defineconnector strategy for the 200+ integration library — prioritising newconnectors, deprecations, and certification standards in collaboration withsolutions and partnerships teams.
• Partnerwith DevOps and infrastructure to specify SaaS, BYOC, on-premises, hybrid, andair-gap deployment blueprints; translate compliance requirements (DPDP, ISO27001, SOC 2) into product guardrails.
• Drive theplatform’s API-first roadmap: versioning strategy, developer documentation, SDKreleases, and webhook/event architecture to support ISV and OEM partners.
• Establishand monitor platform-level SLOs (availability, latency, pipeline throughput)and work with engineering to close gaps against the 3× faster pipelinesbenchmark.
• Managetechnical debt and platform health as first-class roadmap items alongsidefeature development; present trade-off analysis to engineering leadershipquarterly.
• Coordinatewith studio PMs to ensure platform capabilities are adopted consistently andsurface reusable building blocks that prevent duplicated effort across studios.

• Backgroundas a software engineer or solutions architect before transitioning to product.
• Experienceowning an integration marketplace or connector ecosystem (e.g., SalesforceAppExchange, Snowflake Marketplace, or similar).
• Exposureto FinOps or cloud cost optimisation as a product dimension.

Requirements

• 4–7 yearsof product management with at least 2 years specifically on platform,infrastructure, or developer-facing products in an enterprise SaaS environment.
• Strongworking knowledge of data integration patterns (batch ETL, CDC, streaming),cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Ability toread and reason about system architecture diagrams, API specs(OpenAPI/Swagger), and data flow designs without engineering hand-holding.
• Experiencewriting technical PRDs for non-user-visible platform capabilities where the“customer” is an internal engineering team or an ISV partner.
• Familiaritywith enterprise security and compliance requirements relevant to Indianregulated industries (BFSI, healthcare, government).
