Job description

Position - Desktop Support L1/L2

Experience - 2 - 7 years

Location - Mumbai - BKC / Santacruz /Airoli

Frontline IT support, acting as the single point of contact for end-user troubleshooting, hardware setups, and software configuration. Specializing in end-user systems, this role ensures employees can work seamlessly by resolving daily technical issues, particularly focusing on Microsoft 365 and Outlook.

Core Responsibilities

• Outlook & M365 Support: Troubleshoot email configuration (IMAP/POP/Exchange), profile corruption, mailbox permissions, calendar sharing, and connectivity issues.
• Ticket Management: Monitor, prioritize, and resolve user-reported incidents via IT Service Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) according to SLAs.
• Hardware Troubleshooting: Install, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, network printers, and video conferencing equipment.
• OS & Software Deployment: Provision new systems via OS imaging, apply Windows updates, and install authorized software packages.
• Access Management: Unlock user accounts, reset passwords, and manage basic access rights via Active Directory.
• Network & Mobility: Assist with VPN setups, Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic LAN/WAN troubleshooting.

Key Technical Requirements

• Operating Systems: Proficient in troubleshooting Windows (10/11) environments.
• Applications: Expertise in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Infrastructure Basics: Foundational knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
• Remote Tools: Experience using remote assistance tools to troubleshoot and guide users virtually.

Soft Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
