Job summary

Team Computers in Himachal Pradesh (Nalagarh) is seeking a Desktop Engineer to install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network and OS issues, deploy OS with SCCM/MECM or Intune, and support Microsoft 365 apps, Active Directory, security and patch management. On-site and remote support will be provided to meet SLA targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate with any discipline.
• 1–4 years of desktop support experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and operating system issues.
• Install, upgrade, and support Windows, macOS, and business applications.
• Deploy operating systems using imaging tools such as Microsoft SCCM/MECM or Microsoft Intune.
• Configure and support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
• Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Support VPN connectivity, Wi-Fi, and remote access solutions.
• Manage endpoint security, antivirus, encryption, and patch management.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure accurate documentation.
• Create and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when required.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support while meeting SLA targets.
