Job summary

Expro is seeking an engineer to produce and manage engineering documentation in line with industry standards and Expros policies. The role includes recording documents in the PDM system, participating in design reviews, and liaising with multiple departments to ensure process adherence.

The candidate will support operations during build, testing and commissioning, and review non-conformances to ensure fit-for-purpose outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in engineering or a relevant engineering discipline or higher national qualification and experience.
• Proficient in technical software packages such as Auto CAD, MathCad, PDM systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce relevant Engineering documentation in compliance with industry standards and Expros policies and procedures (design reviews, engineering reports, calculations, project specific scope of supply, P&IDs design specs, test procedures, etc).
• Record Engineering documents into PDM system and configure as required.
• Actively participate in Engineering meetings/Design Reviews with internal and external clients and vendors.
• Liaise with other departments on work produced to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed.
• Manage engineering project interfaces to ensure design, delivery and agreed standard of work is done as per project/plan.
• Review of non-conformances/deviations for fit for purpose.
• Support operation teams and workshop during build, testing and operations of the equipment as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of API 6A, 17D, 17G, NACE MR0175 advantageous.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).
