Job summary

Talent Corner HR Services in Navi Mumbai is seeking a design engineer to review customer specifications and convert them into detailed mechanical drawings (GAD, CS, DIM, P&ID) ensuring documentation per client requirements.

The role requires hands-on 2D/3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MS Office, with knowledge of metallurgy and ISO standards to ensure manufacturability and quality control across projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out technical review of customer specifications and tenders for mechanical, electrical & instrumentation requirements.
• Create detailed design drawings (GAD, CS, DIM, P&ID) and ensure required documentation as per customer requirement.
• Ensure product design aligns with customer requirements and is manufacturable.
• Create casting and machining drawings in 3D and 2D.
• Maintain engineering records and designs.

Role & responsibilities

• To carry out technical review of customer specifications received along with enquiries or tenders for mechanical, electrical & instrumentation requirements.
• To create detailed design drawings (i.e., GAD, CS, DIM, P&ID) and ensure required documentation as per customer requirement.

• To ensure the design of the products is in line with customer requirements and are efficient for manufacturing.
• To create casting and machining drawings of parts in 3D and 2D format.

• Maintain existing engineering records and designs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on proficiency with 2D & 3D design on SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other leading CAD software, and Microsoft Office.
• Must have: knowledge of basic metallurgy and relevant standards, knowledge of ISO standards.
