Job summary

Forbes Marshall is seeking an engineer with 4-6 years of technical experience in designing products and sampling systems. You will work on pipes, fittings, instruments, valves, and hoses, with SWAS knowledge for power plants and water chemistry.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of technical experience in designing of products and sampling systems.
• Experience in selection of pipes, fittings, valves, hoses and related components.
• Experience with SWAS, water chemistry, water quality analysers, chillers, pumping skid.
• Experience in oil & gas, fertilizers (open loop & closed loop).
• Face customers for kick-off meetings and technical interaction with customers.
• Submit engineering documents on time and release manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Detailed engineering calculations (thermal, mechanical, pressure vessel design).
• P&ID, GA, BOM, instrument data sheet, electrical wiring drawings, load calculations.
• Quality plan development and technical reviews with customers/EPC/OEM.
• Review supplier quotes and align technically; support procurement in bid evaluations.
• Engineering change/revision management and document control.

Job description

Professional Experience:-

• 4-6 years of technical experience in Designing of Products / Sampling Systems,
• Working experience on selection of Pipes & Pipe Fittings, Tube & Tube fittings, InstrumentsValves, Hoses.
• Should have experience in Steam and Water Analysis system (SWAS) for Power Plants, WaterChemistry, Water Quality Analysers, Chiller Package, Pumping Skid.
• Should have experience in (Open loop & Closed loop) for Oil & Gas, Fertilizers.
• Knowledge of Heat Exchanger & Sample Cooler Design.Need to face customer for attendingKick Of Meeting, Technical interaction with customer.
• Accountable for on time submission of Engineering documents for customer approval, on timemanufacturing drawings release to manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and multitasking areessential.
• Able to provide cost effective solutions with selection of a perfect instruments.
• Should make regular shop visits & assist the manufacturing department & Supervising inunderstanding of drawings & providing clarifications wherever required. Visits to sub-contractorworks & site as & when required.

• Participating & Managing Technical Review meeting with Customer/EPC /OEM
• Reviewing Suppliers Quote and technical alignment
• Support Procurement team for Bid Evaluation process and approve technical offers
• Engineering change / revision management.

Essential Key Skills:-

• Proficiency in 3D modelling: Solid Edge-2022 & 2D drafting: AutoCAD 2026 ,excel, World,PowerPoint, Oracle R-12, Item Codification System (ICS).
• Knowledge on GD&T, ASME NACE, API, ASTM, ASME, ANSI. Piping, Flanges & PressureVessels Standards are Essential.
• Strong Presentation, Organizational & Communication Skill
• Self-Driven, Flexible to work & Good Analytical skill
• Ready to Travel at customer place in India & Globally (if required
