Job summary

Ecomak in Pune seeks an experienced Manager Design to lead the Design & Engineering function for the Process Equipment Division. You will drive the design of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other process equipment, ensuring compliance with ASME VIII, TEMA and customer requirements.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing pressure vessels and heat exchangers and be familiar with relevant codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in Pressure Vessels / Heat Exchangers / Process Equipment manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in design of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other process equipment.
• Familiar with applicable design codes and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering activities for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and process equipment.
• Review customer specifications, RFQs, technical requirements and applicable codes.
• Prepare/review design calculations, GA drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII, TEMA and customer-specific requirements.
• Working knowledge of ASME U Stamp requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Proposal, Production, Quality and Project Planning teams.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, safety and performance.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Resolve design‑related manufacturing and customer issues.
• Guide and develop the design engineering team.
