Job summary

Ecomak seeks an experienced Manager Production to lead the Process Equipment Division's manufacturing operations at Wasuli, Chakan, Pune. You will oversee planning, fabrication, welding, machining, assembly and testing of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and related equipment.

The role requires 10+ years in mechanical/production manufacturing, ASME U Stamp exposure, and a Lean approach to safety, quality and on-time delivery. Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in manufacturing/fabrication of Process Equipment, Pressure Vessels or Heat Exchangers.
• ASME U Stamp shop experience preferred.
• Experience with ASME U Stamp requirements and audits and related compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and process equipment.
• Manage fabrication, welding, machining, assembly and testing activities.
• Ensure manufacturing as per approved drawings and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Design, Project Planning, QA/QC, Stores and Supply Chain.
• Monitor shop-floor capacity, manpower and productivity.
• Lead and develop production engineers and shop-floor teams.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager Production to manage manufacturing operations for the Process Equipment Division.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in fabrication and manufacturing of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and process equipment, preferably in an ASME U Stamp-certified manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and process equipment.
• Manage fabrication, welding, machining, assembly and testing activities.
• Ensure manufacturing as per approved drawings and project schedules.
• Experience working with ASME U Stamp requirements and ASME U Stamp audits.
• Coordinate with Design, Project Planning, QA/QC, Stores and Supply Chain.
• Monitor shop-floor capacity, manpower and productivity.
• Reduce rejection, rework, wastage and manufacturing cycle time.
• Drive 5S, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality and production discipline.
• Prepare production MIS and monitor manufacturing KPIs.
• Lead and develop production engineers and shop-floor teams.

Mandatory Candidate Profile

Candidates must have experience in manufacturing/fabrication of Process Equipment, Pressure Vessels or Heat Exchangers.

Preferred: Experience in an ASME U Stamp shop.
