LS Cable India is seeking a seasoned design engineer with around 15 years of experience in EHV/MV/LV cables. You will lead design reviews, verify calculations, and ensure compliance with GTP and customer specifications. You will drive new product development, cost-control, and support quality, PPC and certification processes.

• B.Tech/BE/M.Tech qualification required.

Responsabilités

• Design review and approve documents & calculation for design & development team.
• Check all parameters in GTP & Other technical documents prepared by the responsible person up to 400kV.
• Clarify customer technical particulars and answers to queries.
• Total cost responsibility: RM cost, packing cost, manufacturing cost.
• Review electrical parameter calculations (SCR, CCR, current loss, voltage loss) per customer/tender requirements.
• Develop new products per market/customer specs (HV, EHV, OPGW, ACSR, OHTL up to 400kV).
• Support PPC, Production & Quality; prepare for ISO, NABL, CE, BIS audits.
• Prepare data for seminars, exhibitions and communications with Govt/utility.

• Design : - Team Review and approve documents & calculation for design & development team

GTP & Other technical (EHV, MV & LV cables) : -

• i) Check all parameter in GTP & Other technical , which prepared by Responsible person in team upto 400kV
• ii) Customer query Clarification in Technical Particulars
• RAW Material Costing : - Responsible for Total Cost (RM Cost, Packing cost, Manufacturing cost)
• System Engineering : - Review final Electrical parameter calculation i.e. SCR, CCR, Current loss, Voltage loss, AL Corrugation SCR, Laying condition etc. or as per customer requirement

New Product Development : -

• 1.Developing new products as per market / customer requirement by following different standards and customer specifications
• 2. Review Electrical parameter calculation as per customer requirement/tender requirement and as per LSCI format/Customer format of HV, EHV, OPGW, ACSR, OHTL up to 400kV Cable
• Customer support Support technically (Online & Off line, as possible) at customer end for Order
• Customer query : - Giving solution to customer for their technical query by telephonically, presentation or by face to face meeting to get the new project & ongoing pjt.
• Production Design sheets : - Check final Production design sheet for cable manufacturing as per customer technical requirement

Support to PPC, Production, Quality : -

• i) Support to PPC, Production & Quality
• ii) Support and prepare for certification/Approval (UL/NABL/VDE/CE/ISO)
• Cost Saving Data : - Review cost saving data after compiling from each department
• Type Test : - Type test responsible for EHV, HV, MV & LV cables
• ISO, OHSAS, BIS : - ISO, OHSAS Audit, BIS inspection & other Government & non government audit

Other Responsibility : -

• Providing data for different seminar, exhibition and advertisement
• Seminar, Conferences & Meeting attend with Govt /Customer Utility
