Job summary

iLenSys is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in New Product Development (NPD) to design and develop innovative mechanical components and assemblies. The role includes 3D CAD modeling, engineering analysis, prototype development, design validation, and manufacturing support while ensuring reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional and global teams through the product development lifecycle, applying GD&T, DFM/

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with New Product Development experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands on experience on CAD tool – SolidWorks.
• Hands on experience on Sheet metal & Plastic design.
• Good engineering fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of drawing standards (ISO, ANSI/ASME).
• Good knowledge on SolidWorks EPDM & any PLM.
• Product development process knowledge.
• Capability to understand/apply GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Able to work on global product development projects independently.
• Experience in working on the design of electromechanical devices.
