Job summary

iLenSys is seeking a qualified electrical engineer to join cross-functional teams and validate supplier processes for new products. You will work on electrical networks, develop schematics, and contribute to component selection for panels or machines.

You will create 2D schematics and 3D cable routing using SolidWorks or Creo, and ensure compliance with IEC, NFPA and CSA standards. Exposure to PLM tools like Windchill is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or Electrical & Instrumentation.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and drawings.
• Awareness of IEC, NFPA, CSA standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and validate supplier process capability for new products.
• Improve existing supplier processes and support project identification.
• Participate in root cause analysis of supplier quality issues.
• Understand electrical circuits and develop electrical schematics.
• Create 2D electrical schematics and 3D cable routing.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, NFPA, CSA standards.
• Generate engineering drawings in Creo and release ECNs/FMEs.

Job Summary:

• Work on cross-functional teams, to assess and validate supplier process capability for new products, improve existing supplier processes, support supplier identification of projects to improve product quality and cost, and participate in experiments to determine root cause analysis of supplier quality issues.


• Understand Electric circuit networks. Ability to develop and understand electrical schematics and how they are related to physical systems.


• Knowledge on electrical components and understanding the specifications for component selection either in panel or Field/Machine.


• Understanding of international standards like IEC, NFPA, CSA and their compliances.


• Develop electrical schematics (2D) and cable assembly drawings & routing (3D) (Preferred SolidWorks /Creo).

• Understanding of international standards like IEC, NFPA, CSA and their compliances.


• Generate and release engineering drawings in Creo, FMEAs (Failure Mode Effect Analysis), and Engineering Change Notices

• Knowledge on electrical components and understanding the specifications for component selection either in panel or Field/Machine Understanding.


• Knowledge on PLM tool (preferably AGILE & Windchill), Contribute to design transfer activities such as process validations.


• Participate in post-new product launch issue resolution teams.
