Job summary

Ilensys Technologies INC in Hyderabad is seeking a Design Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to develop robust mechanical components and assemblies. Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on mechanical design experience.

• Proficiency in GD&T and DFM/DFA principles.
• Experience with prototypes, testing, and validation.
• Strong collaboration with project engineers, manufacturing and suppliers.
• Experience with PLM and ECO processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Perform engineering calculations for strength, tolerance stack-up, and thermal/mechanical performance.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers, manufacturing, and suppliers for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply GD&T and DFM/DFA to ensure reliability and manufacturability.
• Support end-to-end NPD processes from concept to release to manufacturing.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments (FMEA), and required documentation.
• Support prototype builds, testing activities, and iterative improvements.
• Maintain BOMs, ECOs, and design records.

Position: DESIGN ENGINEER

Experience: 2 -3 Years

Employement Type: FULL TIME (Permanent)

Notice period: Looking for IMMEDIATE JOINERS, who can join in a week.

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies using tools like Solid Works
• Perform engineering calculations for strength, tolerance stack-up, thermal and mechanical performance, etc.
• Work closely with Project Engineers, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply GD&T and DFM/DFA principles to ensure product reliability and ease of manufacturing.
• Support the end-to-end NPD process including concept development, prototyping, design validation, and release to manufacturing.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments (FMEA), and documentation as per organization and regulatory standards.
• Support prototype builds, testing activities, and iterative improvements based on test outcomes.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation including BOMs, ECOs, and design records.

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation using SolidWorks
• Hands on experience on Sheet metal & Plastic design..
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, tolerancing, and engineering calculations.
• Hands-on experience in design validation, prototype development, and testing support.
• Knowledge of PLM systems and engineering change management processes.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work on global product development projects independently.
