Job summary

Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) seeks a CATIA V5–savvy designer to lead interior trim part design and CAD updates. You will manage ECNs, coordinate with suppliers and engineering to release CAD on time, verify CAD quality, and ensure geometric integration at vehicle level.

The role requires strong presentation and communication skills, proficiency in Catia V5 engrained workbenches, and familiarity with TC, Vis-mockup, and MS Office. Ford process knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Design and development of interior trim parts for automobiles.
• Experience with CAD changes and Catia V5 workflows.
• Knowledge of Catia V5 workbenches: Part Modeling, Surface Design, Assembly, Drafting.
• Familiarity with TC, Vis-mockup, MS Office is desirable.
• Experience liaising with suppliers and engineering teams.
• Exposure to Ford processes/tools is a plus.
• Willingness to work across time zones and cultures.

Responsibilities
