Job summary

Infosys in Bangalore is seeking a Design Architect with 7-10 years of experience to lead design management for large-scale commercial projects and corporate fit-outs.

You will manage the full design cycle, coordinate with engineers and consultants, review drawings, and ensure sustainability guidelines and quality standards throughout all project stages.

The role requires a B.Arch and strong communication, with a track record of delivering complex interiors and campus developments.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead design management for Green Building Architecture, Campus Master Planning, and Corporate Fit-out Projects.
• Manage the full design cycle—Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, and GFC—ensuring design intent, quality, and coordination.
• Review and optimize drawings, BOQs, and specifications across Architecture, Civil, and Interior works.
• Oversee material selection, finish schedules, and project-specific detailing for interior and exterior works.
• Coordinate with consultants, PMC, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct regular site reviews to identify and resolve design gaps, aligning with approved drawings.
• Track progress, flag risks early, and support timely completion of key deliverables.
• Explore and integrate new materials, technologies, and sustainability-focused solutions.
• Ensure strong documentation and stakeholder alignment across all project stages.
• Strong project management, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Job Description:

• Support and lead design management for Green Building Architecture, Campus Master Planning, and Corporate Fit-out Projects.
• Manage the full design cycle -Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, and GFC - ensuring design intent, quality, and coordination.
• Review and optimize drawings, BOQs, and specifications across Architecture, Civil, and Interior works.
• Oversee material selection, finish schedules, and project-specific detailing for both interior and exterior works.
• Periodically update standards and specifications in line with emerging trends and codes (NBC, ECBC, IGBC, USGBC/LEED, and internal sustainability guidelines).
• Coordinate and integrate the design output effectively with consultants, PMC, contractors, and internal teams (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, FPS, AV, Lighting, etc.) to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct regular site reviews to identify and resolve design gaps, maintaining alignment with approved drawings.
• Manage other campus infrastructure–related design tasks as needed.
• Track progress, flag risks early, and support timely completion of key deliverables.
• Explore and integrate new materials, technologies, workplace strategies, and sustainability-focused solutions.
• Ensure strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder alignment across all project stages.
