Job summary

Jindal Realty is seeking an experienced Architectural Design Manager to lead end-to-end design development from concept to GFC, coordinating with external design consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project brief and brand guidelines.

Key duties include design review for functionality and cost efficiency, coordinating interfaces with MEP, structural, facade, landscape and interiors, resolving conflicts, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing site

Qualifications

• 9-15 years of experience in architectural design management.
• Experience on developer-side projects (residential/commercial/mixed-use) preferred.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design Management

• Manage end-to-end architectural design development from concept to GFC stage.
  
• Coordinate with external design consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure design alignment.
  
• Ensure adherence to design intent, brand guidelines, and project brief.
  

2. Design Review & Coordination

• Review architectural drawings for functionality, constructability, and cost efficiency.
  
• Coordinate architectural interfaces with MEP, Structural, Faade, Landscape, and Interiors.
  
• Identify and resolve design conflicts during design and execution stages.
  

3. Statutory & Authority Coordination

• Ensure architectural designs comply with local development control regulations, NBC, fire norms, and approvals.
  
• Coordinate with consultants for statutory submissions and authority approvals.
  

4. Cost & Value Engineering

• Support cost optimization through layout efficiency, material selection, and design rationalization.
  
• Work closely with QS/Contracts teams on BOQ validation and design-related cost implications.
  

5. Site & Execution Support

• Provide architectural clarifications and solutions to site teams and contractors.
  
• Review shop drawings and mock-ups for compliance with approved designs.
  
• Ensure minimal design-related rework at site.
  

6. Quality & Design Standards

• Maintain architectural quality, detailing standards, and finishes.
  
• Review faade, materials, and finishes in line with project vision and market positioning.
  
• Participate in design audits and quality reviews.
  

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain design trackers, approval logs, and MOMs.
  
• Provide periodic design status updates and risk reports to management.
  

Preferred candidate profile
