Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune, India is seeking an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to design high-complexity PCBs for power electronics.

You will collaborate with hardware engineering, construction and production teams, select processes and materials, and optimize layouts for EMC, thermal management and DfM/DfT.

The role requires a 15+ year track record, a degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of IPC standards; German language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in a related field.
• Practical PCB design experience for high-complexity power electronics.
• Knowledge of IPC standards IPC-2221, IPC-2222, IPC-D-325, IPC-6011/6012/6013, ANSI Y14.5, J-STD-0001.
• Familiarity with EMC and safety guidelines, high-speed digital or HV design.
• Experience with CAD tools, preferably Siemens EDA Xpedition.

• Close collaboration with hardware engineering, construction and production as well as with PCB manufacturers

Qualification and Education Requirements:

• Bachelors/ Master's degree in the field of Electronics/Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• More than 15 years of experience in similar field

Preferred Skills / Special Skills:

• Practical know-how in the design of PCBs with high complexity for power electronic components
• Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-2221, 2222, IPC-D-325, IPC-6011, 6012,6013, ANSI Y14.5, J-STD-0001
• Initial experience in product development with regard to EMC and safety guidelines, high-speed digital design and/or HV design
• Extensive knowledge in the use of CAD layout programs, preferably Siemens EDA Xpedition Enterprise
• Ability to work in a team and independently, as well as strong communication and convincing skills
• Efficient and systematic way of working
• Solution- and target-oriented working approach
• Knowledge of German, both written and spoken will be preferable
• Experiences in reputed MNCs is a must
