Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced CAD/CAx automation engineer. You will analyse, design, and implement automation in Creo Parametric using Toolkit(C/C++), OTK, and integrate with Windchill PLM.

Collaboration with global IT teams, plus training end users, are part of the role. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of CAD/CAx automation experience, strong Creo API knowledge, and excellent English; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• More than 4 years of experience in CAD/CAx automation.
• Experience with Creo Parametric customization and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Creo Toolkit, OTK, REST APIs and model checks.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, harmonise, design and implement automation requirements in Creo Parametric/ CAD/ CAx Environment.
• Automate design workflows, drawing and BOM generation, model validation.
• Customize Creo config and UI for improved user experience.
• Integrate CAD with Windchill PLM and other enterprise tools.
• Provide end-to-end automation consulting and incident/support coordination.
• Collaborate with PLM consultants and CAD administrators to build solutions.
• Deliver training and support users in CAD/CAx usage.

• Analyse, harmonise, design and implement automation requirements in the divisions's Creo Parametric/ CAD/ CAx Environment using Toolkit(C++), OTK.
• Automate design workflows, drawing and BOM generation, model validation to improve productivity.
• Customize Creo config files and UI for user experience.
• Integrate CAD with PLM-Windchill and other tools in the enterprise architecture.
• Comprehensive End-2-End process/ automation consulting for the end users as well as co-ordination and support on incidents and service requests
• Collaboration with PLM Consultants, CAD-Administrators and other various teams to understand the requirements and develop/ build solutions
• Carry out training courses and support users in the effective usage of CAD/CAx functions

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related disciplines

Experience

• More than 4 years of experience in similar field

Preferred Skills / Special Skills

• Experience in Creo Parametric customization & automation.
• Expertise in Creo toolkit (C, C++), OTK, J-Link, VB API
• Experience with Creo APIs, REST, O-Data Services and Model CHECK.
• Knowledge of PLM/PDM Windchill integrations
• Familiarity with CAD standards, parametric modelling & automation.
• Experience in working with tools like Visual Studio, Git-Hub, PTC-Windchill, PTC-Creo, Jira and Confluence
• Analytical skills for process analysis and process optimization
• Very good written and spoken English skills, good German skills preferable
• Working experience in international IT centres and teams.
• Strong communication skills, intercultural competence and hands‑on mentality
