Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Chennai is seeking an experienced test engineer to model and simulate electrical components in Simulink, and develop plant and controller models for system and subsystem level testing.

The role requires 6–8 years in automotive with SIL/MIL/HIL experience; a BE/BTech in EEE is required, MS/MTech is a plus; you will contribute to HIL/SIL/MIL prep and ensure tests align with automotive standards.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in automotive with SIL/MIL/HIL experience preferred.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics; MS/MTech adds advantage.
• Experience with model-based design and system-level testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Model and simulate electrical components in Simulink.
• Create plant models and controller models for system and subsystem level testing.
• Write test cases for HIL testing.
• Converting system requirements to test cases and execution of them.
• Execution of system level and sub-system level test cases per automotive standards.
• HIL/SIL/MIL lab maintenance and upgrades.
