Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Uttarakhand seeks a Quality Engineer for Vehicle Manufacturing with 3-7 years in the automobile sector. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality vehicle outputs and implementing robust QA processes.

You will work with assembly line equipment, Poka-yoke, and QC tools, while supporting BIQ quality initiatives and audits such as IATF and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of assembly line equipment processes and parameters (wheel alignment, dynamometers, filling equipment)
• Experience ensuring consistent quality of rolled-out vehicles and understanding of straight pass
• Knowledge of Poka-yoke, HEP, QC tools and systematic problem-solving
• Experience in developing and deploying quality systems with BIQ focus
• Capability to identify needs, bridge ownership gaps, document and train teams
• Monitoring SPC on the line for torque control tools (TCNR) and related calibration
• Understanding torque and pneumatic tools for calibration (TCNR, battery tools)
• Engineering specification testing on vehicles
• Leading quality inspections and certifications (MSA)
• Experience with WRAP or warranty reduction processes
• Understanding of vehicle subsystems (HVAC, brakes, clutch, diagnostics)
• Exposure to audits (IATF, ISO)

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce quality benchmarks on rolled-out vehicles.
• Monitor and resolve quality issues using IATF/ISO standards.
• Develop and deploy quality systems focusing on BIQ.

• Responsible for engineering specification test on Vehicle
• Responsible for check man(Quality Inspector) certification through MSA(measurement system analysis)
• Responsible field failure control through WRAP(warranty reduction audit process)
• Understanding of vehicle system like HVAC ,brakes, clutch, diagnostics etc
• Must have understanding and exposure of Audits like IATF, ISO etc
