Job summary

You will drive Lean initiatives, enforce IATF-inspired standards, and lead CAPA programs while ensuring SOPs are current and aligned with safety norms. 7–12 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Technology or Engineering in Mechanical or Automobile.
• Strong background in production planning, quality checks, and Lean/Six Sigma is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably automotive sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily/weekly manufacturing schedules and manage manpower allocation.
• Enforce quality checks and lead RCA for defects with CAPA implementation.
• Ensure safety protocols for lithium-ion handling and process safety.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and cost-reduction initiatives on the line.
• Draft and update SOPs and work instructions for the production floor.
• Organize and execute production plans with effective resource allocation.
• Deploy skilled personnel to workstations based on competencies and output targets.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• Production Planning & Execution: Develop daily/weekly manufacturing schedules, manage manpower allocation, and supervise assembly lines (module integration, cell stacking, BMS installation, and wiring) to meet volume targets.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Enforce stringent quality checks (e.g., IATF:16949 standards). Monitor in-line testing parameters, lead root cause analysis (RCA) for defects, and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
• Safety & EHS Management: Strictly enforce safety protocols specific to lithium-ion handling, such as thermal management, short-circuit prevention, and hazard mitigation.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma principles. Identify equipment bottlenecks, optimize line layouts, and implement cost-reduction or low-cost automation projects.
• Process Documentation: Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for the production floor.
• Shift Execution: Organize and execute production plans by allocating resources across.
• Resource Deployment: Deploy right-skilled personnel to specific workstations based on individual competencies and daily output targets. Line balancing and Manpower Deployment as per work content. Work content Study as per MOST.
