Job summary

Leapswitch Networks Pvt Ltd is seeking a Data Center Technical Support Specialist for its Panvel facility. You will provide technical support and monitor data center infrastructure and server equipment across Windows and Linux environments.

The role includes installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, plus health checks, rack placement, and cabling management. You will manage shift handovers, log incidents, and coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Data Center Operations, IT Infrastructure or System Support.
• Certifications such as MCSE/RHCSA/RHCE/CCNA are preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and monitoring for Data Center infrastructure and server equipment.
• Handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows/Linux servers and network hardware.
• Perform routine health checks, rack placement, cabling management, and hardware maintenance.
• Manage shift handovers, incident logging, ticketing, and escalate critical issues per SOPs.
• Coordinate with vendor support teams for hardware replacement and maintenance activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, and Firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Cisco, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
