Job summary

Digitide is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to oversee day-to-day data center operations, ensuring high availability, security, and reliability of servers, network devices, storage, and backup systems across critical infrastructure.

You will install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot IT equipment, monitor performance, lead preventive maintenance, manage incidents and changes per ITIL, and collaborate with security, OEM, and network teams, including on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• CCNA/VMware or similar data center certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data center infrastructure, servers, network devices, storage, and critical systems.
• Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers and IT equipment.
• Handle Windows/Linux server administration and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor CPU, memory, disk utilization, system health, and capacity.
• Perform server patching, firmware upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Manage backup and restore activities and troubleshoot backup failures.
• Coordinate with network, security, storage, application, and OEM teams for incident resolution.
• Handle hardware replacement, device installation, rack/stack, cabling, and asset management.
• Monitor alerts through DCIM/NMS/monitoring tools and ensure timely incident resolution.
• Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Maintain SOPs, operational checklists, shift handover reports, and infrastructure documentation.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with security and data center policies.
• Participate in planned maintenance, DR activities, and emergency troubleshooting.
• Provide 24×7 support through rotational shifts, if required
