Job summary

Secure Minds is seeking an IT Operations Management professional (Datacenter Shift Engineer) to resolve high-priority P2 incidents through advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis, while ensuring SLA compliance across assigned technology areas. The role also analyzes system performance trends to support capacity planning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Handle high-priority (P2) incidents with advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Monitor SLAs and manage escalations to ensure incident resolution within targets.
• Tune performance, plan capacity, and optimize system performance across DC domains.
• Manage datacenter physical infrastructure including cabling, racks, commissioning/decommissioning.
• Coordinate with DC power, cooling and related infrastructure (FAS/WLDS/ACS/VESDA/CCTV).
• Maintain ITSM/compliance awareness for ISO 20000/ISO 27001/ISAE3402/SOX 404.
• Vendor management and stakeholder reporting across DC sites in India.
• Create and review SOPs; maintain knowledge-base for rapid incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Resolve high-priority P2 incidents through advanced troubleshooting and RCA.
• Ensure SLA compliance across assigned technology areas and report on performance trends.
• Support capacity planning by analysing system performance and workload trends.
• Oversee end-to-end physical datacenter operations: cabling, rack installs, commissioning/decommissioning.
• Coordinate with facilities and service providers on DC power, cooling, and infrastructure.
• Maintain CMDB accuracy and support ISO/SOX audit readiness with SOPs and documentation.
• Engage vendors and manage stakeholder communications and service reviews.

The role also covers end-to-end physical datacenter operations — cabling and rack installations, CMDB upkeep, commissioning/decommissioning of server, network and storage equipment, coordination with facilities/service providers on DC power, cooling and associated infrastructure (FAS/WLDS/ACS/VESDA/CCTV), and compliance with ITSM/ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISAE3402 and SOX 404 audit requirements, including SOP creation and vendor management across all DC sites in India.
