Job summary

Indium is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to lead our analytics function and translate data into actionable business insights, partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic decisions.

You will mentor analysts, design dashboards and KPIs, analyse large datasets for trends and risks, ensure data quality, and drive automation and governance to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data analytics or BI.
• 2-4 years leading analytics teams.
• Proficient in SQL and advanced Excel.
• Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical expertise, experience managing analytics teams, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for business stakeholders.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business risks.
• Partner with business, product, finance, sales, and operations teams to understand analytical requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Develop and implement data governance, reporting standards, and analytics best practices.
• Monitor business performance and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, quality, and availability.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership through compelling visualisations and presentations.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation and process optimisation.
• Stay current with emerging analytics tools, technologies, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
• 2-4 years of experience leading or managing analytics teams.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
