Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, interpreting trends and patterns, and generating reports and visualizations to provide actionable insights that will guide strategic decision-making. The Data Analyst will work closely with various teams to understand business needs and use data to optimize operations and achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Preparation:

• Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various internal and external sources.
• Maintain and update databases to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
• Perform data transformation and wrangling to make raw data ready for analysis.

Data Analysis:

• Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and patterns within data.
• Utilize advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Machine learning, AI or other data analysis tools to analyze data from multiple systems.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate actionable insights to support business objectives.

Data Visualization and Reporting:

• Create clear, compelling, and visually appealing reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
• Present findings in a way that’s easy to understand for non-technical stakeholders.
• Summarize data trends and insights through interactive visualizations and presentations.

Collaborative Problem Solving:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to understand business goals and data requirements.
• Provide analytical support to various departments by answering data-related questions and recommending data-driven solutions.
• Assist in making decisions based on historical data, trends, and forecasting.

Monitoring and Optimization:

• Regularly monitor business data to detect any discrepancies or issues in processes.
• Track business performance against KPIs and suggest improvements or strategies for optimization.
• Help define and implement processes for ongoing data collection and reporting.

Data Governance and Security:

• Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Maintain proper data documentation and metadata for audit and tracking purposes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools or languages (e.g., R, Python).
• Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing).
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
