Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service cum Sales Executive role based in Malappuram. The role involves handling customer inquiries, providing shipment information, and ensuring timely responses through phone, email, and other channels. The executive will coordinate with operations and logistics teams to arrange shipments, track consignments, and resolve service issues promptly. Daily responsibilities include preparing quotations, following up with prospects, converting leads into sales, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The role also includes updating records in internal systems, supporting documentation for freight and cargo services, and contributing to the achievement of sales and service targets.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to generate leads, prepare quotations, and close deals in a competitive logistics market.
• Basic logistics and shipping knowledge, such as familiarity with freight services, cargo handling, documentation, and GCC trade routes.
• Strong communication skills in English (and local languages as applicable), with clear spoken and written abilities.
• Proficiency in using office software, email, and customer databases or CRM systems to manage daily tasks and records.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customer requests, follow-ups, and shipment coordination efficiently.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in customer service, inside sales, or logistics is preferred but motivated entry-level candidates will be considered.
