Job summary

Yusen Logistics in Bengaluru is seeking a proactive Freight Forwarding Coordinator to support sales with air, ocean, and land shipments. You will coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to gather rates, prepare quotations, and ensure timely responses to customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining customer records in CRM, preparing shipping documents, and monitoring shipments to provide updates. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in preparing freight quotations for Air, Sea, and Land shipments.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, CHA, and overseas agents for rates and shipment updates.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotations, shipment status, and service requirements.
• Maintain customer records, sales reports, and shipment databases in CRM/ERP systems.
• Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, Delivery Orders, etc.
• Assist the sales team in achieving monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve service-related issues promptly.
• Monitor shipment movements and provide regular updates to customers.
• Support business development activities and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Prepare MIS reports, sales performance reports, and management updates.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and freight forwarding regulation
