Job summary

Bucketlistt in Dehradun is seeking an art-driven designer who can blend wall art, murals, and product UI/UX. You will create brand visuals across physical spaces, merchandise, and digital platforms, ensuring a cohesive look from stores to app screens.

You should maintain a strong design portfolio, be proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, and work as part of a compact startup team in a fast-changing environment. Fluent in Hindi and English.

Qualifications

Hey! We're hiring a designer who is an artist first.

What we're building

bucketlistt.com is a curated marketplace for travel and adventure experiences, starting from Rishikesh and expanding city by city. Alongside it we run OkGhumo, the operating system adventure operators use to run their business. Think of what Zomato and Petpooja did for the food industry, or what BookMyShow did for movies, built ground up for adventure experiences in India.

Why this role, why now

Our brand lives on screens and on walls: app screens, Instagram posts, hoardings at rafting camps, T-shirts, our office and our stores. We want someone whose creativity works with a paintbrush as well as in Figma.

• Founders: Shubham Makhecha, CEO (CA, AIR 36, ex-PwC, ex-Accenture), Nitant Desai, CFO/COO (CA, ex-PwC), and Divyam Shah, CTO (techie, ex-Prepseed)
• VC-backed: we have raised two rounds, close to $1 million in total
• Live in 3 cities, with more than Rs. 20 crores of bookings managed in the last 9 months by a very lean team

Who we're looking for

• Not an a**hole. Arrogance is a deal breaker
• An artist first. You paint, sketch, illustrate, make murals or practise some other art outside a screen
• Taste you can defend: the artists, brands and Pinterest boards you love, and why
• A doer first. You'll pick up the brush, the pen tablet or Figma yourself and ship
• Comfortable with uncertainty. We're 0 to 1 and things change weekly
• Fits our values: Stupid (ask the obvious questions), Curious, Childish (have fun doing it)

• Previous experience at a travel company

• You only work from templates
• You've never made art outside a screen
• You need a perfect brief before you start

• Most of the time you'll be doing the work in your job profile, but you'll also handle tasks from other key areas when they need urgent attention

Location and terms

Dehradun, on-site, full time, 6 days a week (9 am to 6 pm, one weekday off). 2-month probation and 2-month notice period.
